The monitor or TV with HDMI must have speakers to hear audio. What do you do when the video connector on the back of your computer does not match the video connector on the display device? Ideally, you want to have the same video connector on the computer and monitor or TV, but there may be times when this is not possible. The answer may be a special cable or adapter. For example, HP provides a small DVI to VGA adapter in the box with many of its computers. Connect this adapter to the DVI port on the computer and then connect the VGA cable from the monitor or TV into the adapter.

Laggy, Speakers BLOW, but good build Just bought this. It is going right back. First the positive: It feels solid. Faux metal backing feels nice in your hands. Screen looks nice.
Keyboard and track pad seem fine. If it performed OK, I'd be super happy. Spent about a minute trying to open a video on Youtube. (actually moving around Windows is pretty speedy though). I don't expect computer speeds, but my phone things up and running in half the time. Touch screen is unresponsive.
About 1 out 10 taps don't register. Makes it super irritating to enter passwords, etc. (My old phone is way better.) 3.
The speakers even on max are super quiet. Waaaaay less loud than on my phone. Worse, they are positions exactly where your hands go it you are holding it (on the sides towards at the bottom of the unit). How did that design make any sense to anyone??? CAUTION This seems like a great deal, but I ran into so many roadblocks trying to make it work for me that I am selling it 3 months after buying it and taking a loss.
It only has 32GB which I thought could be solved by expanding it with a 128GB memory card, however there is only so much that can be saved to the card. This means even with minimal programs installed it still runs incredibly slow. Skype works better on my phone than on this device. The cord it comes with is too short to be useful so I bought a new one of those as well. I'll never get a tablet in place of a real laptop again, the keyboard makes it deceptive. Not That Good At First The tablet was not that good out of the box.
The unit kept crashing with a blue screen of death. Eventually, the factory installation of Windows totally stopped working. Since I perform a fresh install of Windows at least once a year on all my other computers, I thought I would give it a go on this device.
The fresh install, which was pretty quick, went smoothly. I then used my driver updater utility to install the latest drivers. The Fall Creators Update (2017) successfully installed a few months later. Now, the tablet is smooth and fast.
